About the Teacher
I founded an educational institute in Portugal - BoaCasa and dedicated to establishing areas where children from different backgrounds may come together to discuss concepts and work through obstacles in a welcoming, safe environment.
We get to meet each other where our passions and curiosities collide, which is the finest thing about our classroom. Have a fondness for dragons? For that, we offer a lesson led by a teacher that has an affinity for dragons! adore STEM fields? For that, we offer a lesson led by an educator that enjoys experimentation and exploration! Enjoy drawing? Dnd? Telling Tales?
About the Course
Kids with a curiosity are welcome to go on a voyage of exploration! Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math, and more will all be covered as we STEAM our way across the globe in pursuit of weekly themes. Making new acquaintances, moving, having fun, sharing, and more!
This is a continuous program created specifically for students in primary and early elementary school (preK–2nd grade). There will be no prerequisite knowledge needed for the weekly material because it will be introductory in nature. Every activity, game, read-aloud, movie, and piece of information will be suitable for the child's age and developmental stage. Every week, new subjects will be covered; feel free to join at any moment! Although teacher-led, I will take into account and support suggestions from students or parents!
I'll give a quick lesson on a different STEAM topic every week. Pupils will alternately present what they already know and any relevant "show-and-tell" (books, toys, interesting facts, etc.) regarding the subject.
