About me
I hold a teaching license from the state of New York and a master's degree from the University of Lisbon. I tutored kids in a variety of areas for numerous years, and I spent several years teaching high school level history classes to students ages 15 to 18. I like spending time with my family and watching my children's faces light up with delight when they discover something new. Together, we like to read, hike, and go on new experiences. I hope you'll come along on our next exciting voyage!
Greetings and welcome to my classroom, friends! I have been a teacher for more than 15 years, working in a variety of academic fields. I think education ought to be enjoyable. I take pleasure in instructing students in reading, writing, and English. Since my kids are active, I also like teaching activities that keep us moving! I'll be teaching phonics/reading, writing, science, history & geography, Portuguese Language, and art. I will be providing tutoring in reading, writing, arithmetic, research projects, and Portuguese language as part of my one-on-one class offerings.
I like coaching as well as teaching a range of disciplines to students of all ages. I've been an online teacher for more than two years, and I like the virtual environment. Right now, I also homeschool our two kids.
